On November 8, the Institute for Communication Technology will open the doors to its anechoic chamber as part of the “Nacht, die Wissen schafft” event. In this special measuring chamber, it is possible to carry out high-precision measurements on microphones and loudspeakers as well as psychoacoustic tests on test subjects in absolute silence and under perfect acoustic conditions. During the tour, the characteristics of the room and its construction will be explained, and insights into the measurement technology used will be provided.
